Hello. My name is Bakhtiar Zadeh, and I am a PhD student at Imperial College London working in the Custom Computing Group. My research focuses on efficient machine learning inference, hardware-software co-design, FPGA systems, and compiler or dataflow methods for turning high-level models into practical implementations.

Before starting my PhD, I completed an MEng in Electronic and Information Engineering at Imperial College London and worked as a C++ software engineer at Bloomberg. Across both research and industry, I have been most interested in problems that sit between model design, low-level systems, and high-performance hardware.

This site highlights current PhD projects as well as a smaller selection of earlier technical work. Feel free to explore the portfolio or contact me at bakhtiar.mzd@gmail.com.
